Agent Readiness & Licensing Coordinator

In-Office Position | Columbia, South Carolina

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy professional to join our in-office operations team supporting licensing, compliance, and carrier readiness across multiple insurance platforms.

This role is essential in ensuring agents are licensed, compliant, and Ready to Sell with multiple insurance carriers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Position Overview

The Licensing & Carrier Readiness Coordinator will be responsible for gathering reports, tracking agent readiness, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring accurate operational reporting across multiple systems and carriers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and highly skilled with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

As an Agent Readiness & Licensing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Track agent licensing, certifications, appointments, and Ready to Sell statuses

  • Maintain compliance reports, spreadsheets, and operational tracking systems

  • Monitor carrier onboarding and agent readiness across multiple insurance carriers

  • Review reports for missing information and compliance discrepancies

  • Communicate with carriers, agents, and internal teams regarding licensing and compliance

  • Track renewals, deadlines, AHIP, and certification requirements

  • Generate weekly and monthly operational and readiness reports

  • Maintain organized digital records and cloud-based documentation

  • Support insurance operations, onboarding, and compliance processes

  • Assist with Medicare, health insurance, ancillary, and ACA carrier readiness

Technical Skills & Requirements

We are seeking someone with strong technical and administrative abilities who can confidently manage large amounts of information with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools

  • Experience with data entry, spreadsheets, compliance tracking, and reporting systems

  • Ability to manage large datasets with accuracy and organization

  • Comfortable using carrier portals, CRM systems, and licensing platforms

  • Strong administrative, multitasking, and organizational skills

  • Experience with cloud-based systems and shared drives

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment

  • Insurance operations, Medicare, licensing, or compliance experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, ACA, ancillary, or health insurance is a plus

  • Medicare, health insurance, or carrier operations experience is a plus
